Putting your health first
Who We Are
St Thereza Medical Center (TMC) is a privately-owned for-profit community health facility in Katadde Local Council 1, Kasangati Town Council, Wakiso District, Uganda. The facility is named after St Theresa, a Catholic nun in India who dedicated her life to serving poor and marginalized people. The center was opened to the public on 1st October 2022 by private partners with a vision to provide accessible quality healthcare. The facility started with one full-time nurse and one medical doctor and currently has five staff, with plans to grow as client numbers increase.

Core Values
Brief History
In the first 3 years of operation, the facility procured an ultrasound scan machine to provide imaging services at a subsidized rate, reducing travel burdens for patients, especially pregnant mothers, who previously had to travel to government facilities for quality ultrasound services. Every year, the facility reviews over 150 outpatient visits, 50 inpatient admissions, 5 normal deliveries, 3 referrals, and 5-10 ANC mothers.
Community Commitment
Our dedicated healthcare team remains available to offer quality service by putting your health first through clinical care, preventive outreach, and community-focused interventions.
